About.

Chris started his early career playing music for the elderly in care homes in Somerset. Encouraged by his parents from an early age, Chris continued to develop his own unique style of playing and was greatly influenced by the family gramophone with the records his late mum used to play including great singers like Glen Campbell, Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Matt Monro and many more.

Chris continued through his childhood and into his teens playing for local audiences including local pantomimes in the village.  During this time, Chris's Dad would often do the phoning around local venues and get Chris his first taste of show business performing popular songs for Pubs & Clubs.  Later on in life, Chris was to be seen providing his skills for local shows playing at venues like Westlands Sports & Social complex for various public performances/talent shows, other venues include Weymouth Pavilions, The Grand Hotel Weston Super Mare, where at the time a friend of Chris's June Lodwick shared Chris's passion to perform and assisted in getting Chris gigs around the South West.

Chris spent his early working life, working for 2 well known music shops based in Yeovil Somerset namely Music Mill (now long gone) & Westside Music Centre (also no longer trading) where he carried out all aspects of music shop life at all levels and often visited customers homes to provide technical support on various makes and models of instruments.

Whilst moving home a fair few times, Chris has always been in demand as a Pro Musician whether playing in a blues band, or providing his skills in a studio.  One prestigious invite was when he got asked to perform for the Late David Jacobs (Radio 2 DJ) UK tour playing David's kind of music often heard on his very much missed late night Radio show.

Chris can now often be seen and heard playing beautiful piano music at various Hotels in Devon and other surrounding counties, and still performs on occasions for Organ and keyboard clubs around the country.

A favourite style of music for Chris is his love of Jazz, and so you can expect to hear some of this at his Performances, and of course many other styles including Blues, Pop, Latin, Country, Ballads.  Chris is happy to play for Ballroom dancing, and welcomes anyone interested in hiring a pianist or organist for this kind of occasion, but please note Chris does not play for Strict Tempo/Sequence dancing.

More recently Chris continues to make music at his home based studio using state of the art equipment to produce a high standard of recording.  Incidentally, Chris also welcomes interest from Singers wishing to produce music to a high standard and can make arrangements for this for a very reasonable cost.
